e pulled her out of the coffee shop to take her on an little walk in front of city hall. He read her Proverbs 31 and told her how special she was to him. He dropped down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and proposed! The best part? She had no idea it was coming. Such a sweet, cheery way to pop the question! Mid-day stroll through the park, yes and yes!

hrough mutual friends, Aaron and Amy met one night where Amy was dishing with a girlfriend about all the qualities she was looking for in a man. As Aaron listened to every word that came out of her mouth, Amy ate on his french fries. Once they were gone, he decided it was only fitting to ask her out on a real date :) As time went on and they became closer and closer, it was time to propose. He had all the qualities she was looking for, except one...a boat. Living in Annapolis, she's always wanted to be out on the water and I don't blame her one bit! So before he proposed, Aaron bought a boat and surprised Amy with it. The first day they hit the water with it, he proposed! And how could she resist?! Of COURSE she said yes!

his wedding puts a glittery pink bow on top of the 2011 wedding season for me. I flew back to Virginia for Jennie and Jason's Virginia Beach wedding to find unexpected COLDNESS in the air. Yes, friends, I know, I know...in Virginia it gets COLD! Well, mind you, I checked the forecast for the weekend and packed rather light...light jacket, tights, scarf, and gloves (you know, just in case)...and other things of course! That would have been quite the sight running around in THAT! Ok, I'm bunny-trailing. Just know instead of being the breezy 70 degrees I was expecting, it was probably like 20-ish when we took their portraits. Ok, I'm exaggerating, but it was COLD! I was just impressed with Jennie...she didn't complain once about the temperature :) It's just because she's that kind of girl.
